Utservio ("We") operates the Utservio mobile application and web platform (collectively, "App"), a service marketplace that connects users with verified service professionals for home and personal services. We collect information you provide when signing up, logging in, booking a service, or registering as a service professional. This may include full name, email address, phone number, city, address for service delivery, profile picture, professional details (such as qualifications and service offerings), and any identification documents required for verification.
When you use the App, we automatically collect device information (such as device ID, IP address, operating system, browser type, and App version), location data (city provided during signup, or precise location if you grant permission), and analytics data to understand user behavior and improve our services.
If you sign up via Google OAuth, we receive your email and basic profile information. We may also receive data from analytics and verification providers (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase) to support App functionality. We do not control their privacy practices - please review their policies.
We use your information to facilitate service bookings by connecting customers with service professionals, verify the identity and qualifications of professionals, display provider profiles on the dashboard, and improve the App's features and performance through analytics.
To fulfill service requests, we share relevant customer information (such as name, phone number, address, and service details) with the assigned service professional, who is contractually obligated to use it only for service delivery. We also share data with third‑party service providers (e.g., Supabase for cloud storage, analytics providers) under agreements that require them to protect your data. With your explicit consent, we may share information for marketing campaigns. We do not sell your personal data.
The App may contain content supplied by third parties, and these third parties may collect usage information and your device identifier when their content is served to your browser. When you click links or interact with widgets (e.g., Facebook Like, "Share This" buttons), you may be directed to websites we do not control, and our Privacy Policy will not apply there. Please review those sites' policies before providing personal information.
We store your data on Supabase's secure cloud servers and implement industry-standard safeguards such as encryption and access controls. While we strive to protect your information, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute safety.
